A warning has been issued to any shoppers who use Klarna to help pay for purchases on hundreds of popular websites. The Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) service has an estimated 150million users worldwide, and has a deal with more than 50,000 merchants in 45 countries.
Some of the websites currently offering Klarna as a payment method include PrettyLittleThing, Deliveroo, Ninja, Shark, Robert Dyas and LookFantastic to name just a few.
Klarna has become hugely popular with shoppers as means to purchase items and pay them off within a few months - especially during the cost of living crisis.
