Two Props From 'Beetlejuice' Sequel Stolen From The Set in Vermont - Including An Iconic Sculpture

There was a theft on the Beetlejuice 2 set! Vermont State Police revealed that there have been two props stolen from the set since the strikes have started, according to People. Keep reading to find out more… According to the police report, a lamppost and an abstract art sculpture were taken from the set.

The sequel had been filming in East Corinth, Vermont, ahead of the strikes commencing and in the report, it says that the movie’s security team reported that someone had removed “a large lamppost topped with a distinctive pumpkin decoration” on July 14.

Then, just a few days later, the abstract art, which Beetlejuice fans will instantly recognize as one of the Delia Deetz sculptures that comes to life was swiped from a cemetery the movie had filmed in.

The VSP says that they are on the lookout for “an older model GMC pickup truck” for the first theft. The sequel, will bring back Michael Keaton as the title ghost, as well as Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega.
