Prince William and Kate share some adorable and sauce nicknames for each other including one 'gentle dig' which was inspired by the late Queen, one royal author has claimed.Tom Quinn, author of "Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family", said he was told by palace staff that, just "like all couples", William and Kate have sweet nicknames they use to address each other, reports the Mirror.Kate reportedly calls her husband 'babe', while the Prince addresses her by several nicknames, including "Babykins" and "Duchess of Doolittle", which according to some reports, is not as cute as it sounds. The nickname was seemingly inspired by a 'gentle dig' that Queen Elizabeth used to tell Kate that she did not have a full-time career before she married William in 2011.
