Matthew Corbett from Sooty and Sweep has the exact same haircut 25 years on
ok.co.ukSooty Show presenter Matthew Corbett still has the same haircut, decades after leaving the iconic kids' TV programme.The puppeteer, who hosted the classic children's show for two decades, had dark strawberry blonde hair which he wore in a neat side parting.
Now, 25 years later, Matthew has appeared in a video interview on YouTube - with the exact same haircut! Although his hair has lightened over the years, the 75 year old is still recognisable with his signature hair do.
Matthew is the son of Sooty creator, Harry Corbett. In 1975, Harry suffered a heart attack and was therefore unable to continue his duties on the show.
The television star took over from his dad as Sooty's puppeteer in 1976 and spent 22 years presenting the show until his retirement in 1998.
