Latitude Festival has announced a swathe of new names for its 2024 line-up, including The Darkness, Future Islands, Lankum and The Vaccines.The festival will return on the weekend of July 25-28 in Henham Park, Suffolk, and last month revealed its 2024 headliners as Duran Duran, Kasabian, Keane and London Grammar.Also on today’s line-up announcement are Jockstrap, CMAT, Waxahatchee, Baby Queen and Marika Hackman.The festival’s comedy line-up for 2024 has also been revealed, with headliners Jo Brand, Judi Love and Joanne McNally joining the previously announced Sara Pascoe.See the full Latitude 2024 line-up so far.

Future Islands have shared an emotional new single called ‘Deep In The Night’ – you can listen to it below.The song marks the first material from the Baltimore band since their standalone track ‘King Of Sweden’, which came out last year. Another song, ‘Peach’, was released in 2021 following on from their sixth and latest studio album, ‘As Long As You Are’ (2020).Today (August 15), Future Islands made their return with a moody, atmospheric ballad.

Rivers Cuomo finally made a duet with TikToker Evan Marselli, who has been playing the ‘Buddy Holly’ riff every day for the past three years.Marselli started the project in 2020 as a challenge for Cuomo to duet with him. As of February 26, he has played the riff 990 days in a row. The challenge has garnered him over 15,000 followers and 934,500 likes on the platform.Cuomo dueted with Marselli on day 990, along with the text, “Challenge you to come play this live on Weezer’s Indie Rock Road Trip Tour this summer.
