Dua Lipa has reportedly called it quits with her French filmmaker beau, Romain Gavras, after a whirlwind eight-month romance, according to the Daily Mirror.The 28-year-old pop sensation, who is rumoured to be headlining Glastonbury Festival this year, confirmed her relationship just weeks before a loved-up appearance on the red carpet with Romain, 42, at Cannes Film Festival in May.The pair were first spotted together in March at Saint Laurent's Paris Fashion Week show in New York, days after rumours of their dating started swirling.

Now, they've decided to part ways, with insiders suggesting that Dua will be focusing on her music in the new year. A source spilled to The Sun: "Dua and Romain have gone their separate ways after a summer of love." In August, things seemed to be going strong as Dua introduced Romain to her parents during a trip to Ibiza.They enjoyed a moonlit dinner at Juntos House restaurant in Ibiza, joined by her mum Anesa and dad Dukagjin.

Always stylish, Dua donned a sleeveless white midi dress and completed her look with a pair of white heels. Romain had a past relationship with singer Rita Ora, they were together for six months, but due to Covid restrictions, they decided to part ways in 2021.

After their breakup, Rita went to Australia for several months to film The Voice - this would have added more pressure on their relationship if they had stayed together.
