Troye Sivan Speaks Out After His Twitter Account Makes Album Announcement in Apparent Crypto Scam
justjared.comTroye Sivan is not on Twitter, despite what you might have seen. The 27-year-old singer spoke out on his Instagram after an apparent album on his dormant Twitter account surfaced on Tuesday (April 25).
The since-deleted tweet on his page featured a link to a website, which offered users the opportunity to link their crypto wallets. “We’re releasing this album and teasers to $TROYE holders to hear first,” the since-deleted tweet read. “Visit the link below to claim your $TROYE and hear it before anyone else!” Keep reading to find out more… Despite being tweeted from a verified account, Troye insisted on his Instagram account that it is a hack. “I deleted my Twitter so whoever has the account now is not meeeee they are scammers,” he wrote. “We’re gonna get it deleted hopefully but Twitter is a hell scape,” he added. “This is not the rise of crypto Troye.” Check out his posts inside… Troye Sivan recently spoke out about his upcoming album, as well as his identity, in a new interview.
