Troye Sivan is opening up his sexual preferences and how people have gotten him all wrong. The 28-year-old singer knows that fans think he’s a bottom in the bedroom based on his song “Bloom,” but he says that’s not accurate.

I think in the sort of consciousness of gay people I’m some crazy power bottom or something, which is just not the case, and I just wanted to put that out there.” He added, “I think sometimes people are just surprised if they go on a date with me or something like that and I’m like, ‘Oh, by the way, I’m not a bottom.’” Troye‘s song “Bloom” was released back in 2018 and he referred to it as a “power bottom anthem,” though he must not have been singing about himself!
