Tributes paid to Take Hart's 'Mr Bennett'

His son Tom Bennett, also an actor, shared the news of his father's passing. On X, formerly Twitter, Tom said: "My Dad (Mr Bennett) sadly passed away 2 weeks ago today.
I still don't quite have the words. He was my hero. I will miss him more than he will ever know. I love you, Dad." Colin was best known for playing the caretaker Mr Bennett on Take Hart, which aired from 1977 to 1983.
He starred alongside Tony Hart in the BBC art show, which also featured the animated character Morph. He reprised the role for the spin-off Hartbeat, which was on TV from 1984 until 1989, reports Wales Online.
