The Traitors star Maddy Smedley has said that she's unlikely to return to the BBC reality competition if an all-star version was to happen after leaving the show "a shell of the person" she was before.

The former care home worker signed up for last year's launch series, which saw the Faithful contestants attempt to weed out the Traitors among them before being eliminated from the Scottish castle.

While Maddy became a fan-favourite for incessantly accusing Wilf Webster of being a Traitor, the 30-year-old has revealed that an All-Star series would be off the cards for her. "I don't know if my mental health could deal with it," she said in an exclusive interview with OK!. "I remember coming back to the care home and I think I was a shell of the person I was when I went in there." She added that another consideration would be her baby daughter, who is due in September. "I wouldn't want to embarrass my baby.

I wouldn't want my baby to be like, 'Oh mum's so embarrassing,' or 'How cringey!' I don't want to do anything that embarrasses her." Although playing The Traitors game proved to be a stressful experience whilst in the castle, Maddy said that it's "given [her] the platform" she needed to pursue her acting career. "It almost gave me the confidence to be better at these auditions.
