Toy Appeal sees over 1200 children receive Christmas gifts thanks to Advertiser readers

Gifts galore were given to over 1200 disadvantaged children across South Lanarkshire on Christmas Day – thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our readers.Once again the Lanarkshire public – as well as a host of local businesses, churches, organisations and charities – all chipped in to help make the Advertiser’s Christmas Toy Appeal 2022 a huge success.Working in conjunction with our partners at the Salvation Army Hamilton, we took delivery of thousands of toys, teddies, games, fragrance sets and over 150 gift vouchers for underprivileged youngsters and teenagers across the region.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
