Tim Spector is urging people to consume one 'superfood' to reduced a number health risks - including cancer.The health and well-being guru says that he doesn't believe in so-called superfoods, but if he did, olive oil would be one of them.

Writing in his Instagram caption alongside a video upload he writes: "If I did believe in ‘superfoods’ olive oil would be one of them."While many of us were taught to fear fat, research shows that diets rich in extra virgin olive oil are associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, and cancer."He adds: "Many of these benefits are attributed to the high polyphenol count in extra virgin olive oil.
