Newcastle United chief Yasir Al-Rumayyan and golf legend Tiger Woods could end the feud between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf, as they take a trip to the Bahamas for talks with the Saudi Public Investment Fund and the biggest stars of the PGA Tour.Both the PGA and DP World Tours are looking for a resolution with the supporters of LIV Golf that could bring uproar within the sport to an end.
Patrick Cantlay, one of six players on the PGA Tour policy board along with Woods, attended a "meet and greet" on Sunday at The Players Championships with officials from Saudi Arabia.Moreover, members of the Strategic Sports Group - including Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group who have secured a $1.5bn investment in the PGA Tour - are also present in Nassau.
It's believed that the meeting is taking place at the Albany Resort where Woods arranges his yearly Hero World Challenge tournament.
Cantlay shared, "I'm going into the first meeting with the idea of listening a lot more than talking. I'm excited to hear all I'll learn.
