Pro-Palestine protesters have targeted the offices of a bank in Manchester city centre again. The One building in Piccadilly Gardens, home to the Bank of New York (BNY) Mellon, has been targeted multiple times by members of the Palestine Action group in recent months.
Campaigners say the bank invests in Elbit Systems, Israel's biggest weapons firm. Yesterday morning (April 15), protesters covered the front of the building in red paint and appeared to smash the glass front windows.
They also graffitied the words 'CHILD KILLERS' and 'DROP ELBIT' onto the windows of the offices. READ NEXT: Jury hear of 'tensions' the night before 16-year-old Kennie Carter was fatally stabbed Palestine Action shared pictures of the damage on X, formerly known as Twitter.
