Phillip Bryan Schofield (born 1 April 1962) is an English television presenter who works for ITV. He is currently the co-presenter of This Morning (2002–present) and Dancing on Ice (2006–2014, 2018–present) alongside Holly Willoughby. His other work for ITV includes All Star Mr & Mrs (2008–2016), The Cube (2009–2015), and 5 Gold Rings (2017–present). Schofield gained national attention working for the BBC, first as a continuity presenter for Children's BBC on weekdays from 1985 to 1987, then as a presenter on the children's Saturday morning magazine show Going Live! between September 1987 and April 1993.

This Morning viewers wondered if they were 'hallucinating' as they tuned into the penultimate episode of the week. Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Thursday (May 4) with more royal chatter ahead of the King's Coronation this weekend.

However, they also started the show by celebrating another occasion - Star Wars Day. After welcoming viewers to the show and mentioning the day inspired by the mega movie franchise, Holly, 42, said: "And to celebrate we're joined by the best dancing stormtroopers in the galaxy." "They've taken a break from patrolling the empire to join us in the studio," Phillip, 61, added as former Britain's Got Talent act Boogie Storm entered the studio and began dancing to a selection of well-known pop hits. Meanwhile, @bensmith199703 begged: "Please make it stop, please. #ThisMorning." It comes after viewers complained about the amount of coverage being dedicated to the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III on Saturday (May 6).
