Being on your period can be a pain at the best of times, but even more so when you're out and about and there isn't anywhere to properly dispose of sanitary pads or tampons.
Results of a new study have found that over half of women have had moments where they've struggled to locate a place to dispose of their period products, with 70% having claimed they've been in a situation where no bin has been available.
Period products also contribute massively to waste every year, with three billion menstrual products being used each year in the UK, generating 200,000 tonnes of waste.
