Dan then broke the news to Murphy that O’Hara, 70, would be presenting the award for Outstanding Comedy Series, which went to “Hacks.”Afterwards, the foursome stood on stage together to close out the show.Sadly, “Schitt’s Creek: The Movie” was not announced at the Emmys 2024 as fans were hoping.
The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards stage was a fitting place for the “Schitt’s Creek” reunion. The show set an Emmys record in 2020 when it won seven primetime Emmy awards and nine Emmys in total, the most-ever for a comedy series in a single year at that time (“The Bear” broke that record at the last Emmys ceremony with 10 total wins).
