Based in a former mill alongside the Leeds Liverpool Canal, it was simple to get to from Greater Manchester located just off the M61.
The landmark five-floor mill dates back to 1885 but was transformed into a shopping centre in 1995, selling everything from clothes and gifts to furniture.
The complex also had a garden centre as well as a café, restaurant, and hosted food and drinks festivals and Christmas markets.
