East Ayrshire care home receives clean bill of health from inspectors

An East Ayrshire nursing home has been given a clean bill of health following a spot check by the Care Inspectorate.Torrance Lodge care home, in Riccarton Road, Hurlford, was graded ‘good’ across four quality indicators.Leadership, staff team, setting and how well the home was able to provide care and support plans were all graded in the ‘good’ category.

An ‘adequate’ rating was attached to the home’s ability to support people’s wellbeing.Torrance Lodge is registered to provide care to a maximum of 88 adults (aged 50 and above) and older people with assessed needs which can be met by the service.
