A plan to convert the upper floors of a building in Altrincham town centre into a complex of five apartments has been submitted.
The accommodation on the upper floors of the office building on George Street will be augmented by the building of second and third-floor extensions and dormer windows to the front and rear.
The Applicant is 21 Living Ltd, and the property is in the heart of the town’s busy shopping area. It comprises of a shop floor at street level with staff facilities to the rear with the retail entrance directly off George Street, while the staff access is from Brewery Street to the rear of the building.
The shop is a separate entity of this building and, therefore, does not form part of the application. The existing offices to the upper floors is currently accessed via both George Street and Brewery Street.
