Yossman Aimee Lou Wood and David Morrissey have been tapped for the lead roles in new BBC Studios comedy “Daddy Issues.” Wood is best known for her turns in “Sex Education” and “Living” (the latter opposite Bill Nighy) while Morrissey has starred in “The Walking Dead,” where he played The Governor, and James Graham’s series “Sherwood.” The duo are now set to play daughter and father in “Daddy Issues,” which follows the story of hard-partying Gemma (Wood), who lives for the weekend when she gets down to let down her hair in Manchester.

Pete Townshend has said The Who will have talks about where they go next.The legendary band wrapped up their final orchestral tour date at the Sandringham Estate over the summer.Now, Townshend said he is looking at meeting up with frontman Roger Daltrey about their future plans.He told Record Collector: “I think it’s time for Roger and I to go to lunch and have a chat about what happens next. The Asian version of “The Bridge” was initially commissioned by Viu and HBO Asia in 2018, after Double Vision, part of the Vision New Media group, introduced Viu to the format.
