The Jet2 flight, from Malaga, requested a priority landing due to a 'fault' indication with the aircraft. Fire crews met the plane on the runway after it landed on Wednesday afternoon (August 14).

One passenger, who asked to remain anonymous, said: "The pilot was extremely calm and told us that there was a technical issue and that he had asked for external help when we got to the airport and not to be alarmed if we saw flashing lights. "It was quite nerve-racking but the staff seemed very calm.
