Georgia Steel first rose to fame on Love Island back in 2018 - and headed back into the villa for second time this year, after which she told OK!

how she was viciously trolled - but now she's using her platform to raise awareness for others. The 26 year old has filmed a documentary, The Footballer Fraudster - which is now available on Netflix - after she was swindled out of £32,000 in 2019.

Georgia met Medi Abalimba, who at the peak of his career signed for Derby County for £1.2 million in 2009, at a London nightclub and the pair embarked on a six-week romance during which he lied to her about his true identity. The pair’s romance came to an end when pictures of the duo were posted online and Georgia’s manager called the Love Islander to tell her the truth about Medi - that he was jailed in 2014 for pretending to be ex-Chelsea footballer Gael Kakuta.

When she checked her back account, Georgia discovered that around £32,000 had been spent. Now, in an exclusive chat with OK!, Georgia has reflected back on that period of her life and admits she'd still consider therapy to come to terms with what happened.
