John Hartson has told Brendan Rodgers he shouldn't have made his "good girl" comment to Jane Lewis in the first place, and pointed out that he didn't hear an apology from him.The Celtic boss said that he was "saddened" by the reaction to his controversial interview sign off after beating Motherwell.
BBC journalist Lewis has insisted she didn't think Rodgers meant any offence and that none was taken. Rodgers blamed an over sensitive society for the backlash he has faced since and wanted to make it clear he wasn't that sort of person, before referencing a documentary on Jessica Watson, a 16-year-old who completed a round-the-world sailing trip, which he found "inspirational."But Hartson was less than impressed with Rodgers' response.
The former Parkhead striker reckons Rodgers was wrong in the first place and that despite saying he had spoken to Lewis since, made no mention of an apology to her for the language he used.
