A teenager has been charged after reportedly being 'seen with a knife' at a school and allegedly assaulting a police officer on Monday afternoon.Cops were called to Newbattle High School in Dalkeith at around lunchtime on Monday May 13.Edinburgh Live reports it is believed a local community officer dealt with the alleged incident before a 13-year-old was apprehended.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 13-year-old boy was charged in connection with offences including being in possession of a knife and police assault after an incident at a school in Dalkeith on Monday, 13 May."A report will be submitted to the relevant authorities."
