Scots teen in hospital after crash between e-bike and car as police launch investigation

A teenager has been rushed to hospital after a crash between an e-bike and a car in Grangemouth.The 17-year-old was taken to The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment and is in a serious condition following the collision, which took place in the town's Portal Road at around 11.45pm, May 30.Road policing officers from Police Scotland are now appealing to the public in a bid to track down the driver of the vehicle.Inspector Andrew Thompson, of the Road Policing Unit, said: "A young man has been left with serious injuries and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."It is vital that we trace the driver of the small white car seen in the area.
