A teenager has sadly died following a huge emergency incident at Holyrood Park in Edinburgh on Wednesday evening. Police, paramedics and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the Salisbury Crags area of the park shortly after 5pm following a concern for a person report.Officers confirmed that a 14-year-old male youth was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.In a statement, Police Scotland said there did not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A huge emergency response was reported at the bottom of Queen's Drive throughout the evening with several ambulances and a height appliance from the fire service also present.Tributes were paid on social media to the youngster once the sad news of his death was reported.
