Taylor Zakhar Perez Was Concerned About His 'Hairy Butt' in 'Red, White & Royal Blue' Sex Scenes, Sought Approval From Director Matthew Lopez

However, the 31-year-old Kissing Booth star was particularly concerned about his body hair, according to director Matthew Lopez.
So much so that the director had to stop by his trailer to approve it before filming one day. Matthew opened up about the funny interaction with the actor and how he assured him that everything was alright during a recent interview. Keep reading to find out more… While on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show, Matthew said that he “didn’t think Taylor would mind” him sharing the story.
He said that he got a request to stop by the actor’s trailer before heading to set, which made him nervous. “I go into Taylor‘s trailer — we’ve been making this movie for like, five, six weeks at this point — and Karen [the makeup coordinator] looks at Taylor and says, ‘Alright, tell him what you told me.’ And he goes, ‘I don’t know if I should shave or not,’” Matthew recalled.
