‘Super Size Me’ filmmaker Morgan Spurlock’s ex-wives pay tribute after his death

We so appreciate it. As Kallen said to me, ‘Morgan was the best daddy ever and we will love and miss him forever and ever.'”On May 26, she also included a photo of Spurlock with his sons, Laken, 17, and Kallen, 8.Bernstein shared Kallen with Spurlock, and he shared Laken with Alex Jamieson, whom he was married to from 2006 to 2011.
Bernstein added that people who “wish to honor Morgan” can send contributions to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in New York City.Jamieson posted her own tribute to Spurlock with an Instagram slideshow on the same day.“It’s impossible to put into words what you meant to your family, to your boys, friends, film community … to me,” she wrote. “I’m just so glad we were friends in the end.” Jamieson appeared in Spurlock’s Oscar-nominated 2004 documentary “Super Size Me,” which chronicled his health after eating only McDonald’s for a month straight.
She also wrote a 2006 cookbook, “The Great American Detox Diet,” about his weight loss journey following that experience. “Morgan was a generous, creative, dedicated human.
