‘Summer Camp’: Castille Landon’s Comedy Starring Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard, And Eugene Levy To Launch At AFM With Exclusive First Footage; Protagonist Pictures To Handle International Rights
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: UTA Independent Film Group and CAA Media Finance are co-repping North America whilst Protagonist Pictures has come on board to handle international rights to Summer Camp starring Academy Award-winners Diane Keaton (First Wives Club, Annie Hall)and Kathy Bates (Titanic, Misery), as well as Golden Globe-winner Alfre Woodard (12 Years a Slave, The Book of Clarence).
Rounding up the ensemble cast are Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek, American Pie), Golden Globe nominee Dennis Haysbert (Far from Heaven, 24), Nicole Richie (Great News) and Josh Peck (Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer).
The film is currently in post-production and exclusive footage will be available to screen at AFM. Written and directed by Castille Landon (After hit franchise), Summer Camp tells the story of Nora, Ginny and Mary who have been best friends since childhood, spending their summers together inseparably at sleepaway camp.
50 years later, a reunion at Camp Pinnacle means they’ll be back together just like old times. Their lives might not be where they’d imagine, but this reunion reignites a spark in the trio’s lives and their lifelong friendship.
