Half a kilogram of cocaine, two suspected stolen cars and around £2,000 in cash have all been seized after police swooped in a morning raid.

Officers descended on a property at Grundy Street, in Westhoughton, Bolton, earlier today (February 16). The drugs and cash were found inside the property.

Police also recovered the two vehicles - a Volkswagen T-Cross and a BMW X2 - for further analysis. A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, and handling stolen goods.

He remains in custody for questioning this evening. Try MEN Premium now for FREE... just click here to give it a go. The raid was conducted by Greater Manchester Police's Operation Challenger team, which tackles serious and organised crime.
