Starbucks is making a change that will save some of their customers a lot of money in the long run! During a Q4 earnings call that took place on Wednesday (October 30), the coffee company announced that it would bring an end to upcharges that come with substituting nondairy milk in drinks. Keep reading to find out more… According to reporting by Good Morning America, the change will go into effect on November 7, which is also when the 2024 holiday menu will be available to purchase.
The change to pricing will only apply to “company-owned and operated stores in the U.S. and Canada.” “Core to the Starbucks experience is the ability to customize your beverage to make it yours.
By removing the extra charge for nondairy milks, we’re embracing all the ways our customers enjoy their Starbucks,” CEO Brian Niccol said in a statement shared with the outlet.
He continued, saying, “I made a commitment that we’d get back to Starbucks focusing on what has always set Starbucks apart — a welcoming coffeehouse where people gather and we serve the finest coffee handcrafted by our skilled baristas.” “This is just one of many changes we’ll make to ensure a visit to Starbucks is worth it every time,” he vowed.
