Sinéad O'Connor's cause of death has been revealed one year after the music star passed away aged 56. The Irish singer died on July 26 last year.
The Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker was found 'unresponsive' at a home in London. Thousands of mourners attended her funeral in the small coastal town of Bray in north County Wicklow in Ireland last August.
Fans lined the streets and threw flowers at the passing hearse as the singer’s life was celebrated before she was laid to rest in a single plot at Deansgrange Cemetery on Dublin’s southside.
The Irish Independent have now reported, citing the Grammy winner's death certificate, that she died from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma.
