Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is an American politician who served as the 47th vice president of the United States from 2009 to 2017 and represented Delaware in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

Mindy Kaling, Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn and More To Host the DNC

Jack Dunn Kerry Washington, Mindy Kaling, Ana Navarro and Tony Goldwyn will host the 2024 Democratic National Convention which runs from Aug.

19 to Aug. 22. The DNC will have a host of big-name celebrity guests, including a “Scandal” reunion with Washington and Goldwyn.

Each host will serve as the master of ceremonies for one of the four nights of the convention, opening the evening with remarks and reappearing periodically to help guide the event along.

This news was first reported by CNN. Goldwyn will kick off the DNC on Monday, followed by Navarro on Tuesday, Kaling on Wednesday and Washington on the final night.
