on Wednesday (May 31). The 48-year-old Desperate Housewives star and the 65-year-old actress were seen smiling for the camera as they arrived at the event. Eva was honored as a 2023 Trailblazer at the event alongside Niecey Nash-Betts, who was joined on the red carpet by her wife Jessica Betts. Eva and Niecey were both recognized for their “commitment to telling stories that center diversity, equity and inclusion,” per THR.
Other stars at the event included director Taika Waititi – who was the luncheon’s keynote speaker – as well as Jeannie May, Quinta Brunson, Annie Gonzalez, N.
Bird Runningwater, Henry R. Muñoz III and more. During her recent appearance at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, Eva called out the double standards in the entertainment industry.
