Several Scottish flights have been cancelled again this morning after yesterday's technical issues.Holidaymakers caught in a major UK airspace "network wide failure" have been warned that they face continued disruption despite the issue now being fixed.
Tourists travelling from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen were pictured caught up in the chaos on Monday as airports across the UK showed similar scenes.
And flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow have been cancelled again this morning despite the problem being fixed - with travellers being warned the issues may possibly last until Friday.
Scots have been urged to check with their airline to find out if their flights have been affected.Yesterday the fault affected around 8% of all expected departures and 9% of expected arrivals and meant flight plans had to be input manually by controllers.National Air Traffic Services (Nats), the country’s leading provider of air traffic control, said at 3.15pm on Monday that it had “identified and remedied” the issue affecting its systems and was working with airlines and airports to support affected flights.
