Scott Brown opens up on management future as Celtic hero has 'itchy feet' but makes left-field TV presenter quip

Celtic hero Scott Brown admits he has 'itchy feet' to get back in to the dugout.But the Parkhead icon has enjoyed his downtime after he and former Rangers star Steven Whittaker were let go by Fleetwood Town in England's League One.

Brown made the move to the Cods, his first full managerial position, in 2022 after leaving a player/coach role at Aberdeen under Stephen Glass.

The iconic 'Broony' admitted it was a steep but valuable learning curve at Highbury, before former Hibs manager Lee Johnson replaced him.And while doing the Scottish Cup third round draw live with presenter Gordon Duncan, the 38-year-old Celtic legend quipped that he could quite happily continuing making a living doing TV work like conducting the draw.

The former midfielder then returned to more serious matters, saying getting back in to a "routine" of management is well in his plans.
