A popular Netflix food star has described shawarma from a Scottish kebab shop as the "best I've ever had".Somebody Feed Phil is an American television travel documentary series presented by Everybody Loves Raymond creator Philip Rosenthal.

Each episode sees the host journey to a different city or country and learn more about its food, with an entire episode of the latest season dedicated to Scotland.During his trip to the country, Rosenthal visits iconic Scottish locations such as Edinburgh and the Isle of Skye.

He also journeys to Glasgow, where he eats at restaurants including local-favourite kebab shop Shawarma King.Tucked beneath a bridge on the city's King Street, the eatery has long been a late-night favourite amongst locals and visitors alike.

The eatery specialises in Middle Eastern staples such as falafel, shawarma, and kebab.In the episode, Rosenthal tries a chicken and lamb mixed shawarma prepared by Shawarma King cook Majed.
