Escape to the Country presenter Jules Hudson has opened up about his decision to take a three month sabbatical from his TV career.
He may be a familiar face to viewers at home, but 54 year old Jules has revealed that he is taking a short break from presenting after getting “quite burnt out” at the end of last year.
Speaking to Lyme Regis and Bridport News, the popular TV personality explained that he’d signed up to a 12-week course in furniture-making in Lyme Regis as he takes a break from presenting the popular BBC show. “Late last year, I realised I was quite burnt out and needed a creative and emotional reset.
My wife said: “Why don’t you take some time out and go to the Boat Building Academy?,” he explained. As a result, Jules enrolled on a course at the Boat Building Academy - a place close to his heart as he got charmed by it while filming Escape to the Country in 2012, the Mirror reports. “I always wanted to return.
