Livingston boss Davie Martindale reckons his players deserved better than a 4-2 Scottish Cup quarter-final defeat to Celtic this afternoon.The Lions scored a terrific goal through Dan Mackay either side of strikes by Daizen Maeda to go in 2-1 down at the interval.Tete Yengi stunned the huge crowd at Celtic Park by blasting in an equaliser in 54 minutes and that looked like it was going to take the game into extra-time, before Maeda slid in his third with four minutes left.Sub Kyogo added a fourth in stoppage time, but it was polish on an already-won cup clash.Martindale said: "There's disappointment for the players, because I thought they put a lot into the game.They stuck to the game plan, their shape was good, their discipline and aggression within the shape was good, created problems for Celtic on two or three occasions, and we took our chances when they came."To be sitting here and lost the game 4-2 is disappointing."I'm not sitting here saying we should have beat Celtic, I understand it's a difficult game, and they created the better chances."But at 2-2 with 86 minutes gone, I think just before that there's a big save from Joe Hart from Michael Nottingham, the header, and I think it's a huge save so late in the game."That could potentially have seen us go on to 3-2 and I think the game dynamics change slightly at that point."I'm a wee bit disappointed, it's big moments in games, but that's why big players are at clubs like Celtic."They come up and score the third goal, and I'm not too bothered about the fourth goal, if I'm honest, we started chasing the game at that point and lost a bit of shape."I felt today when we came here it was a little bit different, because I'll be honest and say I think they were missing
