Ryan Thomas says 'makes it all worth it' as he shares cute family update

Former Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas has shared a cute update giving fans an insight into his family life. Ryan, 39, who played Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap for 16 years between 2000 and 2016, shares son Roman, three, and one-year-old daughter Lilah Rae with one-time TOWIE regular Lucy Mecklenburgh - and the children were seen with their mum in a clip their dad posted on social media.

In a caption added to an Instagram story alongside the video, Ryan said: "We've had so many people in the house finishing off work, still lots to do, but to see his little face tonight makes it all worth it." In the clip, Lucy brings Roman and Lilah Rae upstairs into a freshly-decorated bedroom, filled with furniture painted in a crisp white and boasting a feature wall with nautical-themed paper. Recently Ryan gave fans an update on his move back to Manchester after spending a number of years living in Essex. The former Coronation Street actor has been splitting his time between the North West and Lucy's home, but is moving back to his home city with his family, where he also be closer to his elder daughter Scarlett Thomas, who he shares with his Corrie star ex-Tina O'Brien.

The pair - who fell in love while taking part in Bear Grylls Celebrity Island - got engaged during a trip to Italy in 2019 before they welcomed Roman in March 2020.
