Rio Ferdinand issued a brilliant response to Jurgen Klopp after the Liverpool manager joked that 'nobody was interested' in two of his former Manchester United teammates.

Following on from Liverpool's 2-0 Europa League win over Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday, Klopp was asked for his thoughts on midfielder Alexis Mac Allister facing off against his brother, Kevin.

The Argentinian pair were spotted chatting before kick-off and came together with their father on the pitch after full-time. "It's the first time that two brothers played against each other in world football, or [that's] what it felt like," Klopp said. "It's a really nice story."
