Ricky Gervais
Ricky Dene Gervais (born 25 June 1961) is an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer, film producer, director and musician. He is perhaps best known for creating, writing and acting in the British television series The Office (2001–2003). He has won seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and the Rose d'Or twice (2006 and 2019), as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2007, he was placed at No. 11 on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups and at No. 3 on the updated 2010 list. In 2010, he was named on the Time 100 list of the world's most influential people.

Ricky Gervais has announced his new world tour and Netflix special: Mortality.Official performance dates are set to be announced at a later stage, with the tour due to kick off later this year and run until the end of 2025.As per the press release, the tour will see Gervais revisit all of his favourite arenas around the world, and it will also be filmed for Netflix.On the theme of the new show, Gervais said: “We’re all gonna die.

May as well have a laugh about it. Mortality looks at the absurdities of life. And death. Bring it on.”Gervais has already performed 50 work-in-progress shows, which he is continuing through the summer in the lead up to the start of his new world tour.The next batch of work-in-progress shows are now on sale.
