Lanarkshire's first climate festival offers grants for community groups

Lanarkshire’s inaugural climate festival will take place in September, and groups are being invited to apply for £500 grants to join in with activities and events.Run by Lanarkshire climate action hub, the event will run from September 9 to 22 and aims to “celebrate community climate action”.Groups are encouraged to run sessions ranging from toy and clothes swaps and climate-friendly cooking workshops to litter picks, environmental discussions and cycle rides and repair sessions to join in with the event..The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
