Residents in Lanarkshire street meet government reporter over 5G mast plans

Worried residents in a Motherwell street have met a Scottish Government reporter over plans to install a huge 5G mast near their homes.North Lanarkshire councillors opted to go against planners advice and refuse permission for the 40m mast in Firpark Street back in October.A previous planning application to put in a place a 45m mast at the same location within the grounds of Fir Park Stadium was rejected by the planning committee in October 2021.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
