When Meghan Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry in May 2018, she took on several regal monikers such as the Duchess of Sussex, the Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kilkeel.

However, a recent controversy has sparked debate over whether the pair should continue to use their royal titles given their departure from the Royal Family, which came over four years ago now.Despite this, a leading expert claims that if Meghan was to ever lose the use of her title, there would still be another style she could claim but it's bound to confuse many people, OK!

reports.Ingrid Seward, Editor in Chief of Majesty Magazine, said: "I don't think anything will happen to the titles because, if they lose their titles, Harry is still a prince of the blood and Meghan instead of being the Duchess of Sussex, [would] be Princess Henry. "That really would [confuse the Americans].

I think [it's] probably best just to leave it because it looks unkind, it looks unnecessary."Adding on to this, Seward opined: "The Queen gave them the titles, let them keep them - they're going to be 'H and M' anyway. "I think the best thing is to leave them, ignore them, and let them get on with it - which is really what the Palace and the Royal Family are doing." Following his birth in 1984, it was shared that King Charles and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, had named their second son Prince Henry Charles Albert David - but that he would be popularly known as 'Harry'.
