Queen Camilla left heartbroken as her 'first love' Kevin Burke dies

Queen Camilla's first love Kevin Burke has sadly passed away at the age of 77, according to reports.Mr Burke is believed to have died earlier this month of an unknown cause but his family are asking for donations to be made to the British Heart Foundation, the Mirror reports.Camilla met Kevin at a party in Knightsbridge in 1965 and although their love affair was quite short-lived, Mr Burke spoke fondly of his former flame who went on to become the Queen beside her husband King Charles III.In Jessica Jayne's biography, 'The Duchess of Cornwall: Her story and secrets', Mr Burke said: "It was the best fun, and I had the best and most fun partner you could possibly wish for. "Camilla was immensely popular and although she wasn't a beauty, she was attractive and sexy.

I remained with Camilla all that year. "I suppose we were in love and then she ditched me. Why? Well, the short answer is that she was having a ball in London."Later in life, Mr Burke married advertising executive Peta Baker, which lasted for 14 years until they split in 2001.

He then went on to wed former-head hunter Luisa Fairey, and became a father for the first time at 58.
