Prince Harry has touched down in the UK for a poignant Invictus Games anniversary event, flying solo amid reports of a rift with Prince William.
The Duke of Sussex made the journey from California to London without Meghan Markle by his side, as he prepares to attend a service at St Paul's Cathedral on Wednesday to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, a sporting event he founded for wounded servicemen and women.Royal editor Chris Ship broke the news on X, formerly Twitter, sharing: "[Harry] landed here ahead of his St Paul's Cathedral service tomorrow to mark 10 years of the @WeAreInvictus which he founded in 2014.
He's doing some Invictus related events today."The duke is set to reunite with Meghan later this week for a tour of Nigeria, where engagements with military personnel are anticipated. In addition to the service at St Paul's, where Prince Harry will deliver a reading, there is speculation about a potential meeting with King Charles, despite their strained relationship.
The duke's candid memoir 'Spare' released last year did not shy away from criticising his Royal Family members, including a notably harsh portrayal of Queen Camilla.
