The already palpable tension between Prince Harry and his brother Prince William was evident at their uncle's wake on Thursday. The Duke of Sussex made the journey from the United States to the UK earlier this week to honour Lord Robert Fellowes, who was married to their late mother Diana, Princess of Wales' sister.
Despite both princes being present at the memorial service held in Snettisham, Norfolk, reportedly not a word passed between them, even though they were in close proximity.
A mourner told The Sun, "They were only five yards from each other." There was a moment when the Royal siblings were "virtually back to back" during the wake, but they ultimately left the event individually, with no apparent interaction, reports the Express.
An attendee commented on their placement within the venue, noting: "They were sat two or three rows back from the front, not at the back, but they were on opposite sides of the aisle." Reverend Tansey, who hosted the funeral reception for Lord Robert Fellowes, has revealed he didn't catch sight of Princes William and Harry chatting to one another.
