Customers of UK based fast-fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing (PLT) have reported receiving emails informing them their accounts have been deactivated.

On the social media site 'X' (formerly Twitter), customers have been posting screenshots of an email allegedly sent out by PrettyLittleThing, telling them they cannot place any further orders.

Many have reported the company owned by Boohoo, has emailed them to say "unusual high returns activity" had been found on their accounts resulting in their deactivation.

The email adds: "This will mean you cannot place any further orders," before apologising for any inconvenienced caused. The emails telling customers their accounts have been deactivated seem to have been sent in the past 24-hours, causing many to angrily post screenshots of the email online, tagging the @OfficalPLT 'X' account and using the hashtags #plt and #prettylittlething.
